Lovely....

Just so you don't think it's all roses & romance, here's the latest 'animal' stories from the ranch.  Toby & Brinka love to run around at the ranch finding all kinds of 'treasures'. And then of course they have to bring it & show us. A few months ago, someone shot a cow from the road. Clifford then drug it back to the back of the pasture so it wouldn't smell, etc. Well.... in Toby's adventures, he found this steer & has been bringing bones up to the barn. Until now, they've been basic bones - no skin or stuff on them.  This past week, he hit jackpot - an entire leg with skin attached! He was so proud of that stinky, awful thing and then frantic as to where I put it when I took it away.

Oh yeah, this lovely snake was on the road when we left that night. Clifford ran over it, but you have to skid tires on it to kill them. He was wiggling away while I snapped pictures.  Oh joy... :)
