Saw them again today while feeding hay. The moms made them all lay down in a thicket while they followed the tractor & fed on some fresh hay. Pretty cool!

I got to see 3 brand new baby cows on Sat morning at the ranch. Two of them were still dripping! It was quite amazing to see these little babies walking around, nursing, even though it was 35 outside! We've located at least 5 in the last 2 weeks, something about the freezing cold makes the mothers give birth? I have no idea - it's all new to me!
