Unruly mule shot
An unruly mule received a birdshot load to the behind after jumping a fence Tuesday and terrorizing a herd of cattle in the 100 block of Halls Road near Angleton, Brazoria County Sheriff's Office reports state.
The dark-colored mule attacked cows, had one pinned and was biting it repeatedly, the report states. The owner of the cows grabbed a shotgun and fired once. The shot apparently solved the problem and the mule was not seriously hurt.
